For more than two weeks, the Russian army has been methodically shelling Chernihiv. Every day the Russians fire from heavy artillery. Every night, Russian airplanes drop bombs on residential areas, hospitals, schools and kindergartens.
The Russians use banned FAB-500 bombs. One such bomb can destroy an apartment building.
That`s the results of hitting such a bomb in a residential building on March 13.
As a result of Russian shelling, the Bobrovytsia and Chernihiv districts were damaged.
Two days ago, powerful Russian bombs fell on the Gagarin City Stadium.
And this is the hotel "Ukraine" destroyed on March 12.
Houses in the Masany and Chernihiv districts are on fire.
Rusians already killed more than 50 civilians in Chernihiv, 450 are severely injured.
And that`a the view on the historical center of Chernihiv. The Transfiguration Cathedral, is one of the oldest surviving monumental stone buildings in Ukraine. Built in tht 11th century A.D.
